Studies provide empirical evidence about Vietnam's public debt threshold. The author used data of Vietnam's public debt in the period 1990-2010, the threshold model of Hansen (1996-2000) and the OLS estimation method to test the effects of threshold and estimated the public debt threshold value of Vietnam.
