Tóm tắt

This paper presents and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the International Road Assessment Programme (IRAP) carried out on 3,800 km of Vietnam's National Highways in March 1999. Finally, this paper also suggests a possibility to connect evaluating results of IRAP with real accident databases to better support in finding countermeasures of road upgrading and traffic safety.
