Since early times, craftspeople in Nam Dinh have worked their, trades in the Red River Delta, in some villages people are working as mechanics, in others they are recycleing and in others they are doing embroidery... The technology being used in the production process is getting closer to something that could be called modern. Villages people are making a huge amount of goods for domestic consumption and export, and more importantly, they are employed which could gradually improve the quality of life for these rural people. In this respect, craft villages in Nam Dinh are a part of the agricultural modernization and industrialization process.
