Objectives: To investigate the results and feasibility of laparoscopic surgery for treatment of common bile duct stones. Method oj research: From 9/2010 to 6/2012,62 patients with common bile duct stones were treated by laparoscopic common bile duct exploration, three patients had emergency laparoscoptc surgery. Eight patients had prior open abdomen operation. All patients were drained with T-tube. Complete clearan was confirmed by intraoperative cholangiography. Results: 60 out of 62 cases (97 percent) were successfull. Mean operate time120 minutes (80-240 minutes). The average postoperative hospital stay was 5,9 days. One patient had postoperative bleeding in his common bile duct. No deaths resulted from any of the operation. Conclusion: Laparoscopic management of common bile duct stones was feasible and effective.
