Objective: The chronic otitis media is frenquently present in ENT patients, causing a lot of worse problems as hearing loss increasing, especially in conductive hearing loss. The author describe our outcome with endoscopic tympanoplasty in the treatment of conductive hearing loss. Study design: Prospective trial at Khanh Hoa General Hospital from 1/2009 to 12/2011. Patients: 50 patients underwent endoscopic tympanoplasty, with an average follow-up period of 12 months. Presurgical middle ear endoscopy and hearing test were made all patients. Postsurgical eardrum endoscopy and hearing diagnosis were checked periodically. Results: Endoscopic tympanoplasty was performed basing of instruments and equipments of otomicroscopic technique without microscopic. The myringotomy perforation was closed within 2 to 3 weeks, and the average rate of myringotomy perforation closing after 12 months was 94,44 percent patients. The average air-bone gap hearing level after the operation improved to 30dB in 88,88 percent patients.
