In teaching foreign languages, assessment tests are always closely associated with active teaching and learning which help to orient activities of teachers and learners, certify a standard level after a learning period. Depending on the purposes of assessing activities, executors must carry out the task through several stages with many procedures using different assessment tools. This article will focus on introducing basic steps to build a quality assessment test on the foreign languages reading comprehension skill.
