A model massdeworming admistration for preschool children from 24-60 month older by albendazole 400mg conducted in 14 provinces from 2007-2010. The preschool children took anthelminthic drug one time per year by mass deworming campainge in health station and or kindergarten. Parasitological and KAP surveys were carried out in preschool children and their parent before and after derworming 3 times. Information, education and communication (IEC) campaign for control program of helminth diseases and regular deworming every 12 months with albendazole 400mg single dose for all preschool children were implemented. After 3 year, prevalence of infections of Ascaris and Trichuris were reduced by more 73.2 percent and 57.8 percent, hookworm was reduced 23.5 percent
intensity of infections of Ascaris, Trichuris and hookworm were reduced by 100 percent. Knowledge, attitude and practice of school children and their parents was changed significantly. Model of soil-transmitted helminthiasis control based on school has effectiveness, practice and extended application to prevent soil-transmitted helminthiasis, first priority for preschool children to overall the country.
