Tóm tắt

Recently the third generation mobile networks have been widely deployed in Vietnam. The application of 3G networks solves the problem of limited multimedia communications in term of mobility and distance and also helps increase the capability of information processing satisfying diverse user demands. The paper describes research results of designing a real-time system forremote image monitoring over 3G networks to support flood management and alarming activities in Vietnam. The output product and on-field measurements are shown to evaluate the quality and stability of the designed system.
