This study was to describe disease status and reproductive disorders of female veterans of Bac Giang. Retrospective cohort, interviewed 125 women veterans served in the areas the toxic chemicals sprayed in the South of Vietnam (exposed group) and 125 women of similar age and living place but not participate in military service (non-exposed group). Rates of diseases in groups exposed higher than the control groups (1.37 times), diseases have higher rate than statistically significant were nervous system (92.8 percent and 60 percent), respiratory systems (32.8 percent and 12 percent), muscle - bones - joints (87.2 percent and 40 percent), urinary - genitourinary system (25.6 percent and 6.4 percent), skin disease (24 percent and 9.6 percent) and senses (25.6 percent and 11.2 percent)
rate of reproductive dis orders was 2.21 times higher, spontaneous abortion was 1.67 times higher, birth defects was 12.08 times higher. Conclusions: Prevalence rates of diseases, reproductive disorders and birth defects in exposed group higher than non exposed, difference statistically significant.
