Through a retrospective study and a cross sectional, study on facts about food poisoning and the food poisoning surveying ability in Nam Dinh province in 2010, the authors found: There were 9 food positioning cases, (with 436 suffered people including 7 people who had to take medical care in hospitals all over the province
luckily there was no death found. Major reason is metamorphosis foods and chemical contamination. Foods bringing risky poisons are vegetable, fruits, meat t and related products. Food poisoning cases happen mainly in family meals. About food poisoning surveying , ability, most foods safety workers are nurses
there are only 16.2 percent of them are doctors, who work at city general hospital. 100 percent village-officials who work at foods hygiene and safety field are holding more than one office and haven't been trained professionally. About technical foods testing: district-officials have college degree only and technicians. In city general hospital, there are 3 workers including 2 with university degree and 1 with college degree. City and district officials are not able to do statistic chemical test and bacteria test. Village officials can not take charge in sampling and doing quick tests. There are enough infrastructure for testing foods in city hospital, however, there is not in districts. Especially, village health centers are not equipped with quick test kits and seam bags to store samples. Treatment, sampling, finding out causing meals and arrange the survey is the mission of town hospitals and district hospital.
