With the goal of "describe the status of the hospitalized injuries at Duc Giang hospital in 2013," the study was carried out on 289 cases hospitalized and treated for accidents in the period from 01/1/2013 to 31/03/2013. The results showed that 66.1 percent were males, 33.9 percent females. Mean age was 37 years, 92-year-old is the highest, the lowest was 2 years old. There were 5 main reasons of the injury among the group hospitalized: road traffic accidents, labor accidents, violence/conflict, falls, and poisoning. The road traffic accidents were 139 cases (48.1 percent), followed by falls, it was 95 cases (32.9 percent). The average of hospital stay was 4.9 days, the longest was 24 days. Based on the results. the well prepared of equipment and manpower to response to treatment of injuries at Duc Giang hospital is needed in the coming time.
