The research was carried out in April, 2012. With the cross-sectional descriptive study method, the authors chose 400 men who have wivies in the reproductive age in 4 communes of Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province. The reaserch aims: Descripting knowledge, attitude, practice for contraceptive methods and some factors that relate to carry out the male contraceptive methods for man who have had wivies in the reproductive age. The research result showed that there have been the significant difference between the rate of understanding of male contraceptive methods and the rates for using: condoms (94.8 percent and 28.6 percent) male reproductive cease (29.8 percent and 0 percent), ejaculating outside the vagina (36.5 percent and 1.8 percent) calculating the menstrual cycle (18.5 percent and 1.8 percent). The sources of information on family planning mainly have been through TV and Radio. The research also showed that, education, occupation and access to information that affects the knowledge and the fact of using contraceptive methods (p0.05).
