Background: Multiple myeloma is a hematological malignancy, due to the proliferation of malignant cell lines plasma. Currently, there are many diagnostic examinations, including bone marrow test. Objectives: To study the value of bone marrow test and comparision with other examinations in diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Patients: 58 patients were diagnosed fistly as multiple myeloma at The No.108 Military Central Hospital from 1/2005 to 3/2012. Methods: Retrospective cross-sectional descriptive study. Results and conclusions: The value of bone marrow test in the diagnosis of multiple myeloma is 87.93 percent with plasma cells or = 10 percent
