The study was conducted to determine the situation of the dairy cow herd infected with coccidiosis in Long Hoa dairy cow raising cooperative, Sinh Thuy district, Cari Tho city. The studied result showed that in 157 fecal samples (calf and cow, of which, there were 36 calves under 12 months of age) the ratio of cow infected with coccidiosis was 53.50 percent. Of which, the high infection ratio concentrated in the cows at 1-6 months of age (78.57 percent) and at 6-12 months of age (63.63 percent). 7 species of Eimeria were found, in which the ratio of E.bovis was highest (47.61 percent) and ratio of E.ellipsoidalis was lowest (4.76 percent). The infection ratio of cow with coccidiosis was changed by the size of farm, highest in the farm with more than 20 cows (76.19 percent), and lowest in the farms with 1-5 cows (23.07 percent).
