Objective: Blood transfusion safe is obligated content in national strategy, in which the screening for infectious agents through blood is considered as one of main steps. In order to find infectious agents through blood, the authors implemented this research with objective to survey the prevalence of HBV, HCV, HIV, syphilis in blood donors in 5 years (20062010) in Danang city. Method: Retrospective Analysis from the donation blood from January 2006 to December 2010 by Eliza technique. Result: In 83.131 units of blood from donors that are screened HBV, HCV, HIV, syphilis from 2006 to 2010 showed that: HBV-positive rate decreased from 9.4 percent to 1.1 percent when deploying rapid HBsAg screening test in advance. HCV-positive rate tends to increase from 0.5 percent to 0.95 percent. HIV-positive average percentage of five-years got low as 0.31 percent. Syphilispositive rate is very low, accounting for 0.05 percent.
