Polyaniline (PANI) was prepared on the stainless steel 304 by electrochemical polymerization using cyc1icvoltammetry technique in a solution of 0.1 M aniline and 0.3 M oxalic acid. The morphology and structure of PANI film were studied by SEM, Raman, FTIR and UV spectroscopy. The thermal stability of PANI was investigated by TGA, showing that PANI stable at higher than 340°C. The electrochemical property of the PANI film was performed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), indicating that the PANI film was in conductive state. The electromagnetic shielding property of the PANI film was measured and it showed that PANI film was able to absorp the radar range (12-16 GHz).
