The paper summarizes results of research on educational information in Vietnam since 7990. This study is focuses on three main themes: educational science information, information systems of education management, and systems of education indicators. On the basis of analyzing the successes and limitations of the results of conducted research, the author also recommends a number of research-orientations about education information in the 27st century.
