Tóm tắt

This paper presents the main results of the research on the improvements in hydraulic braking system to ABS braking system, applied to small cars (less than 2.5 ton) assembled and made in Vietnam. The proposed improvement plan includes the choice of ABS system layout, sub-assemblies to be used and new sub-assemblies to be designed and manufactured. The research activity has already successfully developed a prototype electronic controller which will facilitate the improvement from the basic hydraulic braking system to ABS braking system with high technical and economic feasibility.
