Objectives: to determine the proportion of clinical pregnancy among infertility women who admitted to the Center of Reproductive Support, National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Methods: a cross sectional study was conducted with 299 married couples who was diagnosed of infertility and treated by using Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) method from April to August 2011. Patients were interviewed and evaluated their pregnancy outcomes after IUL Results: the proportion of chemical pregnancy was 17.7 percent and of clinical pregnancy was 16.7 percent. .While single pregnancy comprised of 94 percent, the twins was 6 percent. Patients with primary infertility accounted for 52.8 percent and secondary infertility was 47.2 percent. For male infertility, the main cause was of the reduced sperm quantity. For females, ovaries without ovulation was a main cause of infertility (24.1 percent). Conclusions: IUI is a safe method with high proportion of clinical pregnancy after use.
