This paper presents a design method of Power System Stabilizer (PSS) to improve performance of power system, which is based on the RHoo optimization theory. The designed PSS controller is optimal in terms of both parameters and structure. The view of optimal design to minimize objective function as sensitivity with model error and disturbance as well as relation ||Gp-z||00. The simulation results following real time specified the performance of this controller against its conventional PSS controller, especially performance in reducing Low Frequency Oscillations (LFOs) of the power system.
