The article looks at two groups of norms to assess the status of economic development in sub-provincial areas in Nghe An province: generalized norms and situation assessed norms. This assessment is to be applied to the economic development of sub-regions in Nghe An province: the coastal plain sub-region, the northwestern sub-region and the southwestern sub-region, to point out achievements and problems.
