Study on 198 patients with HIV at the Infectious Department of Hospital No.103 by retrospective and prospective research with objects of determining the rate of HIV/HCV coinfection, genometype of HCV, and clinical manifestations, subcilinical index of coinfection patients. The author remarked: the rate of HCV infection among HIV/HCV coinfection patients were 29.3 percent. There were 40 percent of the HIV/HCV coinfection patients related drug injection comparing with 25 percent of the HIV/HCV coinfection patients having unsafely sex. Prevalence of HCV genometype was genometype 1 (87.9 percent), genometype 6 (12.1 percent), and the other genometypes were not found. The prevalence of hepatic clinical manifestations were low and the rate of patients having an increase of ALT, AST, total Bilirubin were rare as following: 25.9 percent, 29.3 percent and 10.3 percent. There were not significant difference between HIV monoinfection and HIV/HCV coinfection about clinical manifestations and ALT, AST, total Bilirubin.
