Writer To Huu - one of the pioneers of modem Vietnamese literature, is regarded as the most important authors whose works are taught in the highschool curriculum. With a revolutionary point of view, his first collection of poetry "Tu ay" (Since that time) represents the author's completely new opinion about individual self-esteem: an individual with full optimism and willingness toward the future: an individual that does not live only for his own individual life but leads a revolution for his country and poor labors: an individual who never hesitates to sacrifice his own life for the sake of his community.
