Metabolic syndrome is increasing in all countries of the world. This syndrome is associated with high risk of cardiovascular disease. Objective: 1) Determine the levels of plasma some biochemistry test related to metabolic syndrome in incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province. 2) Determine the ratio of abnormal biochemistry indicators related to metabolic syndrome in incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province. Method: a cross-sectional study of 280 syndrome in incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province. Result: 1) In incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province, the mean values of plasma glucose, cholesterol TP, triglycerid, HDL-C, LDL-C were 4,92 +/- 1,11 mmol/L, 5,71 +/- 1,14mmol/L, 2,54 +/- 1,24mmol/L, 1,26 +/- 0,28mmol/L, 3,38 +/- 0,89mmol/L, respectively. 2) The ratio of person with glucose intolerance or blood fasting glucose greater than 6,1mmol/L was 17,5 percent, the ratio of person with dyslipidemia was 78,2 percent, the ratio of metabolic syndrome was 13,9 percent. Conclusion: 1) Increasing levels of some lipidemia in incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province. 2) There was an abnormal ratio of blood glucose and lipid levels related to metabolic syndrome in incumbent officials in the health care priority of Thai Nguyen province.
