Currently, underwater communication technology is mainly based on acoustic technology, despite the advantages of the possibility of transmission distance, but this technology cannot provide the requirements for data transmission speed high in the survey and underwater, environmental monitoring. Therefore, underwater optical wireless communication is expected as a promising solution to replace the underwater acoustic communications technology. However, due to propagation of light depends on the aquatic environment and the different depths, so the creation of underwater optical wireless signal as well as the deployment of underwater optical wireless systems (UOWC) having very many difficulties. Therefore the objective of the paper is to study the hybrid of underwater optical wireless/acoustic transmission for reduction of back scattering of transmitted light.
