Phu Tho is a northern mountainous and mid land province. It has a total natural land of 3519.56 km2. It also has a Viet Tri downtown, 11 districts and a town. There was a, decrease from 935 farms to 65 farms in 2011 under the Circular No. 27/2011/TT-BNN April 13, 2011. It increased from 65 farms to 136 farms in 2014. After 3 years, it increases 2.1 times. It also uses 1007.67 ha of land area. The average farm is 7.4 hectares. The production value reached 300.1 Vietnam billion dong equivalent 2.2 VND billion/farms which has mainly livestock farms accounting for 88.87 percent and the product value reaches 96 percent. The farms are providing regular employment for 616 workers.
