The study was carried to indentify factors influencing employees' work motivation and to propose some recommendation to increase their work motivation in Bac Kan province. A regression model of 6 factors (salary and benefits, training and development, relationship with supervisor, relationship with colleagues, job characteristics and working conditions) were tested to identify the influencing factors. 320 employees were randomly selected and surveyed. The research findings showed that 3 of 6 factors were found to have a positive influence on work motivation, that are salary and benefits, relationship with colleagues, and job characteristics. Of which, job characteristics had a strongest influence on work motivation and relationship with colleagues has least influence. Based on these findings, some recommendations were proposed.
