The study was conducted in spring and autumn - winter crop of 2015 in Thai Nguyen province. The tested materials included 7 new hybrid corn combinations created by the Corn research Institute with the control, NK4300. The results show that all tested hybrid combinations had the average development duration ranging from 109-114 days (spring crop) and from 93-108 days (in autumn - winter crop). The tested hybrid corn combinations showed well tolerant to lodging with average scores from 1-2, the infected level of stem borers scored from 1-3. The combinations VN3 and VN5 were infected by Puccinia maydist disease in spring crop were 10.0 percent -17.5 percent (spring) and 14.219.2 percent (autumn - winter). The harvested yields of the tested combinations were from 76.76-92.68 quintals/ha (in spring crop) and from 64.44-78.94 quintals/ha (in autumn - winter crop). The VN3 combination obtained the yield from 78.94-92.68 quintals/ha higher than that of the control significantly at 95 percent level of confidence.
