The study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the land use and water quality buffer zone of Ba Be Lake in Bac Kan province. The authors survey, collects data directly from the 08 types of land use, corresponding to 17 types of land use, and conduct surveys of 50 households in Cho Don district. The main findings of the research showed that the use of land, mineral resources exploitation, drug abuse and plant protection in agricultural production has had an impact on the environment initially in particular water and environment Ba Be lake in the basin as a whole. Proposal to the competent authorities and will also have the right following research, involving deeper themes, as references for policy makers on the issue of land use, ecological environmental protection in Ba Be basin, Bac Kan province.
