Purpose: Surveying a number of factors over 5 years of surgical treatment of liver cancer in pa-tients with chronic Hepatitis B and C. Methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional descriptive. Results: 5 years: 146 cases of liver cancer having liver cut in patients infected with hepatitis B and C in Binh Dan Hospital. The average age: 48.25 +/- 14.32. Male: female = 3: 1. ASA Class I, II: 100 percent. Child A, B: 100 percent. The complications: bleeding, bile leakage, abscess under the diaphragm. The complications: wound infection, incision pain, jaundice, fever, pneumonia, the mortality rate was 1.4 percent. The rate of cutting tumor is 94.5 percent. Conclusion: Hepatitis Band C, have been recognized as a high-risk factor for carcinoma of the liver cells. These patients should be thorough clinically and para-clinically evaluated before surgical removal of liver tumors. Besides, it is necessary to have strategies to follow - up closely so that these surgeries removals can become effective for most patients.
