Purpose: Surveying a number of factors on wound infection and the use of prophylactic anti-biotics in surgicallaparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: The total number of cases 612. Male/female = 1/4. 100 percent of patients were evaluated ASA I, II. 100 percent of surgeons with at least 10 years' experience. The postoperative clinical disorders are recognized: incision pain, fever, pain + fever, fluid after surgery, 8.2 percent of patients were evaluated as wound infection at the time of discharge. Conclusions: The rate of wound infection was assessed at the time of discharge was 8.2 percent. Here are the early results of the study. Using proper and reasonable prophylactic antibiotics is essential. However, it is necessary to consider additional factors in the patient's status and care about patients before and after surgery as well as the skill of surgeons.
