In two years 1930 and 1931, along with the country's general revolutionary movement, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, peasants from Northern Delta provinces rose up against the repressive yoke of colonialism and feudalism. That movement had new nature within the proletarian revolution, which was well organized, closely controlled, and happened drastically throughout provinces. Although fiercely suppressed by the empire and minions, the movement vibrated their domination and left invaluable lessons for subsequent period of the struggle.
