In the first half of 19th century, Nga Son district belongs to Ha Trung Phu, Thanh Hoa province. Based on the synthesis and analysis from 79 cadastral document units of Nga Son in this period this report synthesizes the situation and the quality of public and private land ownership of households in Nga Son district. Then it compares the situation of public and private land ownership of Nga Son district with other regions inside and outside Thanh Hoa province like Dan Phuong district, Dong Son district. On the basis of this comparison the analysis propounds some comments about the situation of public and private land ownership of Nga Son district in the first half of 19th century.
