 In the period 2001-2011, cultivated surface in Thanh Hoa province had a sensible change in scale and crop structure was suitable for local ecological conditions and associated with consumer market. In the past 10 years, areas of short-day crops was dominance in which food crop occupied a decisive role but the proportion reduced
  areas of short-day industrial crops had an unshakeable growth
  perennials had small scale and was unstable. Fluctuation of cultivated surface and crop plants structure in Thanh Hoa province in this period illustrated the development of commodities agriculture toward increasing value and sustainable development.
