Cohesion and coherence are two factors deciding whether a language text is considered typical or not. The co-referring expressions have significant contribution in creating cohesion and coherence. In terms of form, the co-referring expressions are the means of mode of replacing. In terms of content, they not only maintain and develop topic/thesis, but also create the logic of expression in order for listeners to comprehend the content of the text easily.
