Objective: This study was conducted to describe clinical features of disorientation in adults with epilepsy. Subject and method: The evaluation was carried out on 200 adults with epilepsy. All patients were evaluated on orientation abilities by clinical examination and neuropsychological tests. Result: 29 percent patients had disorientation. Among them, temporal disorientation was most common (81 percent), spatial disorientation 62.1 percent, surround environment disorientation or self unrecognized represent nearly 3.4 percent. Conclusion: Disorientation is a common feature in adults with epilepsy. Among them, spatial and temporal disorientation are the most common. Usage of phenobarbital can cause more disorientation than other anti epileptic.
