Objectives of the study: (1) Identify elongated styloid process rate in patients with difficulty swallowing lasted, (2) evaluate the diagnostic methods currently elongated styloid process. Study design and setting : Prospective, randomized, controlled clinical study 43 patients aged 17 to 70 do not distinguish gender expression without swallowing difficulties prolonged sinus and tonsil pathology, not belching heartburn. Patients received CT Scan and Panorex X-ray, or Nadeau. Results: The mean age of the study group: 42.81 (17 - 70). 60 percent of patients aged 40 and older. Proportion of Male: Female: 1:3. elongated styloid process: patient swallowing problems: 41.8 percent. elongated styloid process ratio/female patient swallowing difficulties: 50 percent. elongated styloid process ratio / male patient swallowing problems: 18.1 percent. Conclusion: Conclusion: 41.1 percent of patients with swallowing problems not caused by prolonged tonsillitis, chronic sinusitis and gastroesophageal reflux esophagitis is caused due to elongated styloid process. For the diagnosis the authors need to capture XQ. The exact method that's most obvious and CT Scan the authors have exact length value high price however can't be applied to mass. In those cases where conditions may give patients taking panorex will result more clearly than traditional film Nadeau.
