The influence of temperature on effectiveness of automotive exhaust gas treatment by catalytic converters has been studied. The experiments showed that the catalytic converters CATCO 6800 and MD90 could oxidize almost hydrocarbon (HC) and monoxide carbon (CO) content of an automotive exhaust gases at temperatures higher than 300oC.
