Biology research has an importance role in resource management strategic of aquaculture animals. Growth characteristics on sand whiting (Sillago sihama Forsskal, 1775) at Nha Phu lagoon - Khanh Hoa province was collected from June 2012 to May 2013. Total of 400 samples of sand white were monthly collected at Nha Phu lagoon and analyse the correlations between fish's length and weight identified with Berverton-Holt (1957) equation was W = 4 x 106 x L3.103
R2 = 0,989. The extraction sand whiting mainly individuals are ranging in size from 131 mm to 180 mm. The coefficient of fat is determined by the method of Fulton (1902) results showed that this indicator reached a maximum value in October (0,000751 +/- 0,000049), the lowest in may (0,000683 +/- 0,000040) and average 000715 +/- 0,000043. The coefficient of fat is determined by the method of Clark (1928) results showed that this indicator reached a maximum value in October (0,00071 +/- 0,000031), the lowest in may (0,00066 +/- 0,000033) and average 0,000677 +/- 0,0000319. Von Bertalanify growth equation on the length were Lt = 336 x [1- e -0.36xt]. The age of sand whiting exploitation in Nha Phu lagoon - Khanh Hoa is mainly individuals aged 2+. The growth index of sand whiting in Nha Phu lagoon - Khanh Hoa provice is 10.61. The initial resulting on growth of sand whiting is scientific basis and practical solutions to exploit this species at Nha Phu lagoon - Khanh Hoa province.
