Feed is one of the most important factors deciding to growth and survival rate of fish in reared process. The objective of this study was to evaluate effective of 3 commercial feeds (CP T503, Cargill Aquaxcel-7424 and VHS: Institute marine fishery) for growth and survival rate of black sleeper Bostrichthys sinensis. The results showed that fish fed CP which reached the highest specific growth rates (SGRL: 1,19 +/- 0,02 percent/day and SGRw: 2,42 +/- 0,039 percent/day) and had significant difference with Cargill feed (P 0,05) but no significant difference with VHS feed (P 0,05). Similarly
different feeds did not have significant differences effects on survival rate of the fish ranging from 79 to 82 percent among treatments (P 0.05). From this study, it can be suggested the CP feed is the most optimal for growth and survival rate of black sleeper and helped enhance seed quality to meet demand of market.
