In recent years, food poisoning caused by the tetrodotoxin in Khanh Hoa has reduced. However the exploiting, fishing and processing aquatic products containing tetrodotoxin still occur, they are not managed and controlled closely. The high products containing tetrodotoxin (especially the puffer fish) are fished by raw materials annually, spontaneous processing methods and blend products on the market. Therefore, the risk of tetrodotoxin poisoning is due to Khanh Hoa people as well as all Vietnamese are high. Some overcome measures to minimize the above problems were also mentioned in this paper.
