The authors used the summary and analysis methods on all cases with injuries and injury-specific mortality in com-munity recorded in Examination Record A1/YTCS and Death Causes Monitoring Book A6/YTCC of all 577 communal and town health stations of Hanoi in 2013. Results: there were 26,659 cases of injuries
of these, the age group of 20-60 accounted for the highest proportion (56.9 percent) and males were dominant (68.3 percent). Injuries were more prevalent in suburbs (70.7 percent). Farmers, K-12 and college students were more dominant groups (35.4 percent and 28.7 percent, respectively). There were 1,140 deaths (4.3 percent), mostly involving farmers, freelancers, commercials, K-12 students, college students, and blue collars and craftsmen. Injuries occurred mostly in 3 places (on the road, at homes, and at work...).
