Environmental accounting has an important impact on the business operations of enterprises. Environmental accounting is not just calculating data but also an important part of business management to ensure the enterprise’s sustainable development and compliance with environmental regulations. This paper presented some basic issues of environmental accounting in businesses and proposed solutions to promote the implementation of environmental accounting in Vietnamese companies.Kế toán môi trường có tác động quan trọng đến hoạt động kinh doanh của doanh nghiệp. Kế toán môi trường không chỉ là việc tính toán số liệu, mà còn là một phần quan trọng của quản lý doanh nghiệp để đảm bảo sự phát triển bền vững và tuân thủ quy định về môi trường. Trong phạm vi bài viết, từ việc khái quát một số vấn đề cơ bản về kế toán môi trường trong doanh nghiệp, tác giả đề xuất giải pháp nhằm thúc đẩy triển khai kế toán môi trường trong các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam hiện nay.
