Diabetic wounds are therapeutically challenging because of the complex and adverse microenvironment that impedes healing. Unlike conventional wound dressings, hydrogels provide antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and repair-promoting functions. In this study, we developed a light-responsive and injectable chitosan methacryloyl (CSMA) hydrogel, incorporating soy isoflavones (SIs) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy analyses confirmed the successful synthesis of the CSMA/SI/AuNP hydrogels.
