Cardiometabolic risk may differ based on a stress-induced alpha(α)-adrenergic response versus a predominant beta(β)-adrenergic response. Whether these responses might serve as significant markers of distinct cardiometabolic risk profiles based on hemodynamic reactivity remain unknown.
