OBJECTIVE: Aberrant neutrophil activation is implicated in the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and its related comorbidities. We found that CD177 was one of the most highly up-regulated genes at the transcriptional level in purified neutrophils from SLE patients.
