Vibrio parahaemolyticus causing acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (VpAHPND) is a significant bacterial pathogen to Litopenaeus vannamei aquaculture with a substantial economic burden. Outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) released by Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria play complex roles in the modulation on host's immune response.
