The structural and antioxidant activities of palm peduncle polysaccharide was characterized, and its protect effect on hydrogen peroxide induced oxidative stress damaged for RAW264.7 cells was evaluated. The result of structural analysis showed that palm peduncle polysaccharide was main composed of rhamnoose, arabose, galactose and glucose, which accounted for 10.87%, 21.35%, 18.33% and 18.07%, respectively.
