Dentin hypersensitivity has been widely recognized to be caused by patent dentinal tubules (DTs). A polyaspartic acid-calcium and magnesium (PAsp-Ca&Mg) complex process has been demonstrated to induce biomimetic mineralization of collagen fibrils.
