Compared to the Law on Inspection 2010, the Law on Inspection 2022 has certain new points. However, there are still some legal limitations in inspection activities, receiving citizens, and resolving complaints and denunciations. This paper pointed out some new points and legal limitations for these activities. Based on the paper’s findings, some recommendations were made to improve the effectiveness of these activities.So với Luật Thanh tra năm 2010 thì Luật Thanh tra năm 2022 có một số điểm mới nhất định. Tuy nhiên, vẫn còn một số hạn chế về pháp lý trong hoạt động thanh tra và tiếp công dân, giải quyết khiếu nại, tố cáo. Bài viết trình bày về một số điểm mới và hạn chế về mặt pháp lý đối với hai hoạt động trên, từ đó đề xuất một số kiến nghị hoàn thiện nhằm tăng tính hiệu quả của hoạt động.
